Regular office visits every two weeks are required initially, with ongoing adjustments based on your skin’s response. Once your acne is under control, maintaining your daily skincare regimen is crucial. Follow-up appointments for monthly deep-cleansing facials with professional products are recommended to keep your skin healthy.

What is Acne?

Successful treatment depends on your adherence to the regimen and lifestyle changes.

 • Attend treatments and/or assessments every two weeks.
 • Make necessary home care adjustments as directed.
 • Implement lifestyle changes affecting acne, such as diet, medications, cosmetics, stress, and pore-clogging ingredients in products.

Our Face Reality Certified Acne Specialist Kitt Horn will monitor your progress, ensuring the most effective regimen and making adjustments as needed to achieve clear, healthy skin efficiently.

We assess your skin biweekly to optimize your regimen, avoiding both overuse of products and inadequate treatment. Regular adjustments help maintain progress and prevent stalls. If you miss a treatment, contact your Acne Specialist for instructions on home care adjustments.

Mild corrective peels and extractions are used to enhance home care. If your skin is dry or irritated, we may opt for enzyme treatments and steam with extractions.

• Perform a visual and tactile skin analysis to determine your acne type and grade.
 • Discuss factors aggravating your acne, such as foods, medications, and cosmetics.
 • Educate you on identifying pore-clogging ingredients in skincare products.
 • Explain acne formation and how our system targets problem areas for effective results.

If you choose to proceed:

• We will assess your skin's tolerance to our professional-strength products and conduct an allergy test.
 • Develop a personalized home care regimen for the first four weeks.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

If you have been using any prescription topical products (such as Differin, Retin-A, Clindamycin, Epiduo, etc.), you must stop using them for at least two weeks before your appointment, or opt for a consultation only.
