Laser Hair Removal
Pre-Treatment Care
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Do not wax, tweeze, or use depilatory creams for 4 weeks before treatment. Shaving is permitted.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment so the laser can target the hair follicle effectively.
Avoid skincare products containing retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or benzoyl peroxide for 3–5 days prior to treatment.
If you have a history of cold sores and are treating the face, notify us in advance.
Post-Treatment Care
Redness and mild swelling are common and should subside within a few hours to 2 days.
Apply a cool compress or aloe vera gel to soothe the treated area.
Avoid hot tubs, saunas, or strenuous exercise that causes excessive sweating for 24–48 hours.
Do not wax, tweeze, or thread between treatments. Shaving is allowed.
Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for the next few days.
Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily to protect the treated area from sun exposure.
Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate aggressively. Mild shedding of hair is normal within 1–2 weeks.
