Consultation for Neurotoxin (Botox/Dysport)
A personalized assessment to discuss treatment goals, facial anatomy, and areas of concern to determine the best neurotoxin plan for natural, refreshed results.

What Is a Neurotoxin Consultation?
A neurotoxin consultation is a personalized evaluation to determine whether wrinkle-relaxing treatments such as Botox®, Dysport®, or Xeomin® are appropriate for you.
During this visit, your provider will assess facial muscle movement, symmetry, wrinkle patterns, and overall facial balance. The goal is to create a customized treatment plan that softens dynamic lines while preserving natural expression.
This consultation ensures safe dosing, proper technique selection, and alignment with your aesthetic goals.
What Are the Indications?
A neurotoxin consultation is appropriate if you are concerned about:
Forehead lines
Frown lines (“11s”)
Crow’s feet
Brow heaviness
Chin dimpling
Jaw clenching or TMJ symptoms
Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)
It is also recommended for patients who are new to neurotoxins or who are considering adjustments to previous treatments.
What Should I Know Before I Go?
The consultation typically takes 15–30 minutes.
You may be asked to:
Raise your eyebrows
Frown
Smile
Clench your jaw
This allows your provider to evaluate muscle strength and movement patterns.
If appropriate, treatment may be performed the same day. You should avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (if medically safe to do so) for 24 hours prior to treatment to reduce bruising risk.
Your provider will review risks, benefits, expected duration (typically 3–4 months), and answer any questions before proceeding.
